The transition from high school to university is one of the most important major changes in academic life<\/strong>. It is exciting, yes, but it can also generate many doubts<\/strong>Will I adapt well, what is expected of me, what will the pace of study be like?<\/p>

If you are about to\u00a0start university this september<\/strong>Here are five key things that will help you to cope with your\u00a0first year of university<\/strong>\u00a0with more confidence.<\/p>

You will have more freedom... and also more responsibility.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>

At university, no one will force you to attend classes, and no one will chase you if you don't hand in a paper. That sounds good, but it also means that you will have to\u00a0organise yourself very well and be consistent<\/strong>\u00a0with your time.<\/p>

Council<\/strong>The calendar is created from the first month with dates for exams, deliveries and classes. Tools such as\u00a0Google Calendar<\/strong>,\u00a0Notion<\/strong>\u00a0o\u00a0Trello<\/strong>\u00a0can really help you to keep on top of things.<\/p>

2. The way you study will have to change
<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>

Forget about memorising for the next day's exam. At university, the important thing is\u00a0understand<\/strong>,\u00a0read in depth<\/strong>\u00a0y\u00a0reflect<\/strong>. Many students are slow to adapt to this new approach... and it catches them by surprise.<\/p>

In addition, if you are interested in travelling, our grades offer international mobility<\/strong> in Europe, America and Asia: you can study abroad for a semester, do an internship abroad or participate in international volunteer programmes.<\/p>

Council:<\/strong> participate in extracurricular activities, discussion groups, voluntary work or associations. The university is also experienced outside the classroom.<\/p>
