Something that connects you to the world, that is not just theory, and that allows you to work beyond our borders. And that's where an increasingly popular option comes in: the\u00a0<strong>degree in International Relations<\/strong>.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But then comes the big question: Is it worth studying International Relations in 2025?<\/p><h1><span style=\"color: #0058b3;\"><b>An ever-growing degree<\/b><\/span><\/h1><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is no coincidence that more and more young people are becoming interested in this career. In fact, it has even been rumoured that the\u00a0<strong>Infanta Sofia<\/strong>\u00a0might be considering studying International Relations. Yes, she is. And if someone who has access to the best advisors in the country is considering it... there's a reason, isn't there?<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reason is clear: we live in a world where everything is connected. Politics, economics, conflicts, international agreements, climate change, artificial intelligence... understanding the global is no longer an option. It is a necessity.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #0058b3;\"><b>What are you going to study in International Relations?<\/b><\/span><\/h3><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This degree is not like other more technical or classical degrees. It is\u00a0<strong>multidisciplinary<\/strong>\u00a0and that makes it one of the\u00a0<strong>more versatile university careers<\/strong>. Over four years, you will study International Politics, Global Economics, International Law, Contemporary History, Geopolitics, Diplomacy, Cooperation, Languages (very important!) and much more!<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In short, you prepare for\u00a0<strong>understanding today's world from different angles<\/strong>. Ideal for inquiring minds with an international vocation.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #0058b3;\"><b>What about job opportunities?<\/b><\/span><\/h3><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It's natural to ask yourself this question. After all, what's the point of studying for a degree if you can't find a job afterwards?<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Well, although it is not a career with a \"single exit\" (like Medicine or Architecture), it is an option.\u00a0<strong>with a lot of possibilities if you move well<\/strong>. The most common departures include:<\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Diplomacy and foreign policy<\/li><li>International and multilateral organisations<\/li><li>NGOs, cooperation and human rights<\/li><li>Foreign trade and business relations<\/li><li>International communication and analysis<\/li><li>Consultancy and advice in global environments<\/li><li>Multinationals with an international focus<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And most importantly:\u00a0<strong>does not close doors<\/strong>.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #0058b3;\"><b>Is this career for you?<\/b><\/span><\/h3><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ask yourself these questions:<\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Are you interested in what is happening in the world beyond your borders?<\/li><li>Would you like to work while travelling or living in other countries?<\/li><li>Do you like to debate, analyse, understand?<\/li><li>Do you see yourself working in a multicultural environment?<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you answered \"yes\" to a number of...\u00a0<strong>International Relations could be your path<\/strong>.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #0058b3;\"><b>Why is now a good time to study it?<\/b><\/span><\/h3><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because the world needs more than ever profiles like the one that this degree course trains. People who know how to build bridges, negotiate, understand cultural nuances and make decisions with a global vision. And we are not the only ones who say so: the crises we experience every day say so.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moreover, in the middle of the pre-registration process,\u00a0<strong>it is a career in high demand<\/strong>So if you're really interested, don't put it as a last option.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #0058b3;\"><b>So... is it worth studying for a degree in International Relations?<\/b><\/span><\/h3><p>Yes,\u00a0<b>it is worth studying International Relations<\/b>\u00a0if you do it with passion, with the intention to specialise, and with an open mind to the world. It is not a career to sit still.
